A Valentine fete will he given by the Federation of Industrial Clubs of the Young Women’* Christian Association on Wednesday evening. The affair will be In celebration of Membership night, anil will be open to the public. A vaudevlllel show, with a three-act program, will be followed by a bazaar In the gymnasium. Each of the clubs will be represented In a stunt or by a booth. One of the bazaar stunts w!H be given by a group of giris from Butler College. The committee In charge is as follows. The initiation and business meeting of the Technical High School Girls' Reserve Club of the Y. W. C. A. was held Friday afternoon. William Johnson Darby. 73, president of the board of trustees of James Millliken University At Decatur. 111., and secretary of the hoard of ministerial relief of the Presbyterian Church of the United States, Is dead at his home at Newburg, a suburb of Evansville, of apoplexy. The Rev. Mr. Darby had been active in the ministry for fifty years. A few years ago he was the representative of the Presbyterian Church the tlulvert>al council held in Scotland. r
