Offices of Legrion Are Consolidated A consolidation of the various offices of the Marion County Council of the American Legion has been effected and temporary headquarters have boen opened at 102 North Pennsylvania street. The consolidated offices will Include the executive secretary, J. W. Ebaugh; tbe membership secretary, Earl* V. Hitch, and the employment secretary, Gordon B. Lang. The council employment secretary has on file 450 applications for employment from former service men. These men are available at once and qualified for office help, various trades, laborers and men willing to accept any kind of work. Railroad Without Cars, but It Must Run DENVER, Feb. 1L —The Colorado public utilities commission is anxious for suggestions on how a railroad may be operated without rolling stock or track. The State Supreme Court has decided that the Denver, Boulder & Western railroad “should not be permitted to discontinue operations," but the road ceased operating several months ago, and all Us physical property, Including rolling stock, locomotives and track, has been sold to Japanese interests and shipped to Nippon. Two Whites Killed by Cyclone in Georgia OCONEE, Ga., Feb. 11.—Twenty-six lives were lost and more than forty persons seriously Injured when a cyclone struck here late Thursday, according to estimates today by rescue workers. Only two of those killed were whites.
