Howover, that fact does not disturb Ihe cheerful optimism of Duggerites, who have stated their intention of raising SIOO for the Hoover fund for starving children. “We are bound to do our part in spite of hard times” is the word they sent to Hoover headquarters, 147 North Pennsylvania street, when they sent in a request for a speaker for their dinner Feh. 16. They expect to raise their self-im posed share of the fund for starving children at the dinner.
