It Is well to become acquainted with “who Is who" In the cast of “Florodora,” which comes to the Murat for a week’s engagement, beginning next Monday bight. Heading the list Is Miss Eleanor Painter, well known American musical comedy t>Hina donna. Miss Painter studied for several years under the best instructors es Europe and America, appeared at Cerent Garden for one season and as prlnia donna in America in “The Lilac Hrnilno,” “Princess Pat," “Glorianna." "The Cll'eax" and “Florodora.” She goes Into graud opera at the termination of Ler present contract, appearing with severs celebrated operatic organizations In Europe. ■William Danforth Is a celebrated exstar of over fifty light ontras and_ musical comedies and Is note 1 for his work ir the Gilbert and nllivan pieces. His debut was made in I V T9 in Syracuse as a j •Child of eight, when he played Dick Dead-Eye in a juvenile performance of "Pinafore." Isabel Rodriquez, the fiery Spanish dancer, first danced at the Tivoli Theater !n h - native city of Barcelona. Spain, at the age of 5. Later, at 12. danced at the Theater T.’Odeon in Paris, later appearing altogether for six years in Paris at tae Theater Moulin Rouge, Comedie F-:;ncslse, Theater Olympia, Theater Femina and the Varieties. In America, she has beeti with the New York Winter Garden spectacles ever since her arriral. AValter Woolf has the distinction of being the youngest actor In the history of the stage to sing the role of “Pooh Bah” in “The Mikado.” Mr. Woolf, prior to bis engagement with “Florodora,” was one of the best known concert artists of the younger generation in America. He was also featured in the principal tries of several headline acts in vaudeville. There will be many others in the large cast.
