The preaent addition of SISOO from the treasury of Marion County to the salary paid by the State to the Circuit and Superior Judges was authorized in 1803. when Marion County had a population of a little more than 110.000. That population had increased in 1010 to 265,000, and if the same ratio of increase been maintained as in the three Preceding decades, now exceed* 340.000. FOOD PRICES DROP Indianapolis Prices Fell 3 Per Cent, in November WASHINGTON, Dec. 18. —A further decrease of two and onehalf per cent in retail food prices In November as compared with October was reported today by the Department of Labor’s bureau of statistics.
