McCray, to meet with a committee representing the educational authorities of the State regarding needs of the public schools, met today in the office of L. N. Hines, State superintendent of public instruction, with members it the State Teachers' Association. Senators Oscar Ratts, Paoli; Joseph Cravens, Madison; Clem J. Richards, Terre Ilaute; Representatives O. A. Do Long, Azalia; Chester A. Davis, Pennville; Henry L. Humrichouser, Plymouth, form the legislative educational committee. Donald Du Shane, president of the State Teachers’ Association, and other officers of the organization attended the meeting. It was understood that no recommendations would be made following the meeting, but that the object of the conference was to acquaint the legislators with the needs dfc the public schools and tb6 teachers therein.
