‘Squeals’ on Pals Who Took Money Special to Th. Times. RUSHVILLE, Ind., Dec. 18.—Prosecutor Albert Stevens has announced that affidavits had been filed in City Court against thirty men who were named in a confession of John G. Hokey, an agent here for the traction company, who lost $375 In gambling at a soft drink parlor Sunday afternoon. Hokey confessed to the officials of stealing the money from the cash drawer and losing it In games, and in turn told on thirty men who were at the place and had a part in the games. Hokey Is held on two charges, one for embezzlement and one for grand larceny. Os the thirty affidavits filed In Police Court the following hare been arrested, charged with gaming, and were given a hearing today: Charley Sorrell, Albert Pea. John Beale, Jerome Garon, Charley Perkins, William Bennett, Chase Bennett, Leslie Downey Fred Jones, Albert Sorrell and Gordon Bennett. HOW AX EDITOR SLEEPS.
