Baskets of poinsettias and Christmas greens were used throughout the house, with a miniature Christmas tree as a centerpiece for the luncheon table, attractive in the soft glow of red tapers set in crystal holders. Among the out of town guests were Mrs. CUra Sickles of Chicago, with Mrs. W. 11. Davis, and Mrs. Margaret Masters of San Francisco, with Mrs. F. L. O’Brien. Covers were laid for the twelve members of the club and their guests, including Mrs. Arthur Carr, Mrs. Fred Eicholtz, Mrs. George Marott, Sr., Mrs. Allen T. Fleming. Mrs. C. A. Ilall, Mrs. Chester L. Zechiel, Mrs. ,T. C. Dietert, Mrs. Aler Goodwin and Miss Alta Boss. Mrs. C. I* McllValne, Mrs. A. L. Atkins and Mrs. J. L. Wells. Assisting the hostesses in the hospitalities were Mrs. Mellvaine. Dec. 10.—In connection with the ceremonies attending the presentation of a charter to the Noblesville Kiwanis Club, three hundred business men from this city, Kokomo. Muncie, Anderson. Columbus, Marion and Lebanon were visitors. The presentation speech was made by Col. J. L. McCullough of Marlon and the charter was accepted by Dr. H. H. Thompson, president of the local club.
