HGOSIERS BUY MANY SEALS Frankfort Kiwanis Club Takes SSOO Health Bond. Indiana has started toward anew record of snport Dor the Christmas seal, according to announcement here today by Murray A. Auerbach, executive secretary of the Indiana Tuberculosis Association, under the auspices of which the annual Christmas seal sale is being conducted In the ninety-two counties of the State. Unusnal support has been in evidence in many counties and officials of the State association predicted today that Indiana’s total for 1920 would exceed that of any previous year in the antltnberculosis fight The remarkable announcement came from Frankfort, Ind., today that the Kiwanis Club there had Just purchased a *SOO health bond and that the High School basket-ball team, one of the strongest aggregations in the State, had challenged any similar team in Indiana to play a match game, the proceeds to be need In the purchase of Christmas seals. All day yesterday in many counties of the State the Salvation Army, under the direction of Evangeline Booth, commander, lent Its powerful influence to the seal sale. In Indlanapoiis all the workers o* the Army, under command of Brigadier Casler, conducted a telephone seal sale, and many hundreds of dollars were produced for the Marlon County Tuberculosis Association. At Logansp rt ye terday the Army, under eomand of Captain Hall, gave the entire proceeds of the Christmas kettles to the sale, and this same splendid cooperation was reported from Evans vllle and I.afayette.
