FIRES SHOT, THEN MAKES HER WILL Former Evansville Woman Kills Self at Grand Rapids. GRAND RAPIDS. Mich.. Dec. 4.—Mr*. William T. Morris, formerly of EvansvlUe, Ind., who recently removed here with her husband from Covington, Ky., died early today in a horoital from the effects of a bullet wound in her left lung. Mrs. Morris was found lying wounded on her bed by Oecar Jackson, chauffeur for the family, who with the Morriaes from Covington. He was at flrat suspected of the shooting. When filled by officials, be proved that Mrs. iiltoMls was despondent over money matters and had shot herself. Jackson was absolved By Coroner Leroy. Mrs. Morris made a will in the hospital. leaving her estate to her husband and Jackson. Her body will be taken to Evansville today for burial. Her parents and a Brother reside there. Wardens and Farmer Stage Tilt Special to The Times. SEYMOUR. Ind.. Dec. 4ln an encounter with Frank Tiemeyer, a Jackson Township farmer, Friday. Fred Ehlers and W. E. Gerhart, deputy game wardens, received some severe bruises and cuts. The skirmish followed a controversy when the automobile driven by the game wardens collided with a wagon load of corn driven by Tiemeyer. One of Tiemeyer's mules was hurt in the collision, it is said, and in the argument which followed Tiemeyer swatted the two game wardens over the head with a singletree. Their wounds were dressed by a physician who happened to drive np at the time. No affidavits have been filed to date. FRIDAY. Friday afternoon no4her concert by the Arnold Orchestra will be given. Cake bukers will contend Friday night for the cake-bakieg honors of Indianapolis. Already In many kitchens housewives are experimenting on recipe* that will outdistance all competitors. White layer cakes will be baked out of ingredients shown at the Food Show. SATURDAY. A musical feature in the afternoon will he a concert by the Arnold Orchestra. Saturday night the Show sill come to a ciese with an auction of much of the food on exhibition.
