To Speak in Behalf of Disabled Soldiers C. a. Stay ton of the United State* Public Health Service, will apeak ft the next meeting of the Indianapolis afcapter of the Disabled Veteran* of the World War at the Marlon Club next Wednesday night. Men eligible for membership are those who were wounded, disabled or Injured during the World war. The purpose of the organisation is to cooperate with various agencies which are looking after the welfare of disabled soldiers and sailors. TIIJT ACT© ROUTE MARKING, j. D. Outfit J Is not working this winter, but Outfit 4 is working on the Tip Top trail in the vicinity of Muncie.

Author of War Song Back in ‘Cits’ Today SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. X —Lieut. Col. Charles E. Steuton, author of “Lafayette, We Are Here,” which ilgnlfled the arrival of the first American army in France, became a private cltlaen today. He retired yesterday with the rank of colonel. Officers’ Training Course Opens March 1 That a special infantry training course for National Guard and reserve officers' would open at Camp Knox, Ky., March 1 1* the announcement of MaJ. Gen. G. W. Read, commanding officer at Ft. Benjamin Harrison. The reserve officers’ course will be open to the 6th Amy corps area, which includes, Indiana, Athio, West Virginia and Kentucky. MaJ. Gen. Read announced that the training course* will have further plans issued through the War Department. He has ordered the 40th Infantry from Camp Sherman, Chlllicothe, Ohio, to Camp Knox to act as a garrison division.
