The Iter. C. L. Griffith of the Blaine Avenue M. E. church read the service before the fireplace banked with paints, ferns and floor baskets of yellow and white chrysanthemums. Miss Thelma "Thomas. sister of the bride, played the bridal chorus from "Lohengrin" for the processional. The bride, who was unattended,-wore her traveling suit of midnight blue trieotine. heavily embroidered, a blue satin tailored hat of the same shade, with a corsage of sunburst roses. Following the service h luncheon was served for the families and close friend-. The table was decorated with a basket of yellow and white pompom chrysanthemums at and the place cards and ices carried out the yellow color scheme. Mr. and Mrs. Pegerstrom departed this afternoon for Chicago, where they will pass a few days l>efore going on to California. They will stop In San Francisco and various’ other California cities and will be at home after Dee. MY HUSBAND’S FAVORITE RECIPE COOKIES. lugreiUrnts—Due-half cup of butter or margarine. two cups of sugar. one-half cop of water, two eggs, two teaspoonful* of baking powder, oue teaspoonful or vanilla and enough flour to make a dough which will ‘roll out. Method—Cream shortening and sugar together until thoroughly mixed. Add the water. Add the eggs which hare !een well beaten. Lastly sift iu the flour in which the baking powder has been mixed.
