A* a result she haa been ordered to appear In Juvenile Court at 2 o’clock this afternoon to answer to the charge of child neglect, and the baby, for It is •aid there was only one and no trade made, has been taken to the Indianapolis Orphans' Home. While lu this city Mr*. Yorke has been staying at the home of her uncle, Martin Hulse, 1801 South Meridian street. She told the police she left the train to telephone her uncle and that a "mysterious woman" ruahed up to her and asked her to bold her baby for a few minutes and that she did hold the child, but later found that her own child was missing from the bench In the Union depot. § However. Miss Ida Roberta of the Indianapolis Orphans Home saw the child end at once identified It as the one a woman had attempted to have taken In the home Wednesday. Miss Roberts Identified Mrs, York as the woman who had brought the child to the home and then Mrs. York admitted she was the mother of the child and that there had been no exchange of tables or "mysterious woman,” but that •he had left her husband In Detroit to make her own way and found It difficult to do so while she had a small child. SOUTH TO FORM TRADING BODY Cotton State Bankers Will Back $12,000,000 Corporation. NEW ORLEANS, La., Nov. s.—To finance dealings between foreign countries and the cotton growing States of the South prominent bankers from all the cotton States > meeting here Saturday, will start activities for the formation of a $12,000,000 foreign trading corporation. At the annual meeting of the American Bankers’ Association, recently held In Washington, a special committee was formed with Robert E. Maddox of Atlanta as chairman. Mr. Maddox called the meeting here. Entire approval of the plan has been given by many clearing house associations of Southern cities. Os the capitalization one-half Is to be paid in at once, thereby providing a $6,000,000 working fund with which to begin operations. Although It is the an- - nonneed purpose at first to facilitate the marketing of the cotton crop, the corporation eventually will enter Into trade In all the products of the South.
