All three high school girl reserve clubs will celebrate election week with mock •lections and discussion of the various policies presented by the parties. Among the former popular Indianapolis girls whom Cupid was singled out is Miss Elizabeth Harrison, now of New York, whose engagement to James Blaine Walker Jr. of New York has been announced by Mrs. Benjamin Harrison, her rnothor. Miss Harrison, who is the daughter of former President Harrison, attended Tudor Hall and is a graduate of Westover School, Connecticut. She holds a degree of bachelor of science from Washington Square College, j New York University, and bachelor of law and doctor of jurisprudence from New York University. Miss Harrison wns admitted to the Indiana bar and the New York bar last year and now is practicing law in New York. Mr. Blaine, who is a grandnephew of the late James G. Blaine, Secretary of State in President Harrison's Cabinet, is a graduate of Cornell University. During the war he served as secretary of tie first section, general staff, A. E. F., at General Pershing’s headquarters. lie Is connected with the American Inferua’lonal Corporation and Investment Banking House. The date of the wedding has not been announced. • * Miss Lois Vandaworker. 2015 Bellefontaine street, will leave for New York within a few weeks to resume her vocal studies with Frederick Haywood.
