‘REWARD’ UP FOR PROOF OF SHIFTS Harding Says He’s Against League, Not Wobbly. WITH SENATOR HARDING IN NEW YORK STATE, Oct. 21.—Senator Warren G. Harding entered New York State today for the first time since he received the Republican presidential nomination. Set speeches were to be made at Rochester this afternoon and Buffalo tonight. Several rear-platform talks were made. Senator Harding doe3 not plan to go to New York City during the campaign. The plan originally was not to enter ■New York State, but appeals from upstate leaders resulted in the Republican candidate consenting to this trip. This probably will be Senator Harding’* last journey outside of his home State. ' ■' The final week of the camaign will be spent in important Ohio cities. Criticism of Democratic leaders, who charge Harding has 'changed his league position several times, has brought from the Republican candidate an offer of a “reward" to any one who can' point out an inconsistency In his utterances on this issue since nis speech of acceptance. “I have said from the beginning that we wouldn’t have the Wilson covenant, and I say it to you again now,” he said, speaking in Jackson, Ohio, en route to Rochester. -v “But I have repeatedly said America will gladly play her part in a suitable association of nations which does not involve the surrender of American sovereignty, which is tuilt upon the ideals of justice rather than force, and I say that again. “I do not believe in very much of the President’s candidate wants to regard this as ray thirteenth change, I give him notice that I have one more yet to give him, because, you know, I am entitled to fourteen. . ‘f will give a reward to any man in America who can take my utter.in.-e on world politics, from my speech of acceptance at the time I was formallv notified of my nomination, down to the speech I am making at this hour, and point out an inconsistency or change of position. “I have not, of course, specified Just how we would do it, but I have said repeatedly and I say It to you again now, when I am elected I am going to consult with the leading minds of America, without regard to party and without regard to sex.”

"I—Keep Your Coffee Fresh— Preserve the Aroma to the Last. Fruit Jars Are Ideal for this Purpose.” But—Read the Better Way. The above is the first of a set of rules for good coffee cited by the National Coffee Roasters’ Association in the advertisements which are part of a million-dollar, four-years publicity campaign now on. Years before it began, The Fishback Cos. was doing even better than recommending fruit jars. It was selling coffee in seal-top fruit cans, best of all receptacles for retaining the flavor and aroma of coffee, and avoiding exposure of the grain by transferring to any kind of a jar.
