FAIR STORE IN IT§ NEW HOME Ready-to-Wear House Moves to Modern Quarters. “A fair store" is the slogan of the new Fair store, which will be opened tomorrow at 311 to 3-1 West Washington street. Something new in the way of fireproof structures for merchandise is boasted by the concern. The new building is of reinforced concrete of Pompeiian design. In the center of the big salesroom is a court. A glass roof which makes it possible to save electricity during daylight and to display merchandise in daylight, is supported by large pillars. A greatly increased sales force will be added and the stock will be enlarged. Th Fair store was organized in the location of the old building in 1905, when only men's ready-to-wear clothing was carried. The store was reorganized in 1908. when men. womens and children’s clothing was introduced. The hours on the opening day will be 8:30 a. m. to 8:30 p. m. Regularly the hours are 8:30 a. m. to 5 p. m. on week days, and 8:30 a. m. to 9 p. m. on Saturdays. Louis Traugott is president of the corporation; Edward Traugott, vice pres- ‘ ident, and Leo Traugott, secretary and treasurer.
