TEACHERS’ BODY ADJOURNS TODAY Wabash College Man Talks on Americanism. Addresses were made by C. J. Orbison, federal prohibition enforcement officer, and Dr. George Tapy of Wabash college, at the final sessions of the Marion County Teachers' Institute today. This morning Dr. Tapy spoke on "The Spirit of Americanism,” and In the afternoon on ‘‘The Great Teacher.” Mrs. Nell I. Sharpe give a number of musical at both the morning and afternoon sessions. Yesterday Dr. Tapy talked on “The Gospel of Relaxation,” in which he defined the fundamental differences between work and play. He claimed that the popular games of today are hungering of the pre-civllized era. M. Folev gave a short talk on the relation of the child to the, legal profession, and Judge James A. Collins talked on “The Education of Aliens.” Compulsory education of aliens and the restriction of the ballot to persons who can read and write were urged by Judge Collins. The conduct of night schools by the city was offered by the speaker as the logical means for educating aliens.

Ind., Aug. 27.—One hundred and twenty-five residents of Grant county are said to be heirs to the $200,000,000 Coate-Coppock estate o Pennsylvania, legal stepa to obtain con trol of which are to be Instituted sooi. in "Mij.-ioinMn. The property In question is located in .a ,tcstciicsi<-r aint t'otiadeiphia counties, Pa., and in the city of Philadelphia. It is said to have been leased by Marmnduke Coate on July 16, 1816, to various persons. The lease was at an annual rental of $1 an acre and was for a term of nlnetynine years. At the end of this period the title to the property was to revert to the heirs of the original owner. The date of this reversion would be July 21, 1915. Two hundred and fifty of these de scendants and heirs, live in Ohio and Pennsylvania. It is said that at the time the lease was made there was no means for a proper record to be made. The owner, Marmaduke Coate, was a member of the Fflends church. It is reasonable to presume, they say, that the lease was recorded In some church document. TO OFFER COU RT TRADITION.
