Bolshevik Spy Kills Chicago ‘Y’ Man NEW YORK, Aug. 14.—The death <>f Capt. T’oziwek of Chicago at the hands of a bolshevlst spy while serving tha i Polish armies as a Y. M. 4’. A. secretary, was confirmed here today by international headquarters of the Y. M. C. A. L'czhvek was shot while asleep. The spy had joined him and two Polish privates who were moving up from Minsk by motor truck. After killing Ucziwek the spy shot one of the privates and attempted to shoot the other, but the cartridge missed fire. He then committed suicide. Camp Custer, Mich., Will Be Abandoned WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 —The war department today announced that the commanding general of Camp Custer, Mich., has been directed gradually 10 abandon and to eventually salvage the camp. The Tenth Infantry, now at Camp Custer, will be transferred to Camp Sherman, 0., and the Fourteenth infantry to the Panana canal department.
