MY HUSBAND’S FAVORITE RECIPE
“KONEST-TG -GOODNESS GK \VY.” Soak small ends of pork chops in icecold water for about twenty minutes, drain, and dredge thickly with flour in the same way you prepare chicken. To five or six pork chops place a heaping tablespoonful of lard In skillet. Place a steel disk (always) between skillet and blaze; have the lard piping hot when you put in the flour coated chops; then gradually lower blaze and cover with a lid. Flavor meat with a tiny pinch of sugar, sage leaf, salt and pepper and fry slowly but steadily until delicately brown. Remove meat and, using a fork, mingle enough flour in grease to absorb all grease, and then with a spoon rub briskly Into the grease a quart of milk and water. Pour In the milk first until the consistency suits your taste; season with a tiny pinch of sugar, salt and black pepper. With “round” or ‘loin” steak, you soak In cold water the same as pork chops, frying a size steak In proportion to chops, only using water for gravy Instead of milk and cayenne pepper Instead of black. MRS. OTTO J. DODDS. 248 W. Maple Road, Indianapolis. Mrs. Dodds says this has been her dally dinner menu for nearly thirty years. "In my husband's opinion the meal would be Incomplete without the proverbial meat, ind he always requests “make enough gravy, mother, to run cl’ar back to the kitchen.” Mrs. Dodds says her advice to beginners is to learn how to fry meat, and make good gravy, and then their meal problem will be solved for all times to come.

Such consolation is that of the buyer of these specially priced Taplow Golf Balls These are full sized, 27 pennyweight balls, with mesh marking.
