They are in large measure responsible for the new standards of performance and long life which have been set by the New Series Marmon 34. But few, even in trade, have any conception of the enormous cost which these higher standards of manufacture entailed. In putting into practice, on a “production” scale, manufacturing ideals which had previously been considered practical only in laboratory work, the Nordyke & Marmon Company undertook a difficult task. A million dollars was invested in the necessary tools, dies and jigs for the production of the High Efficiency Motor. But this expense was amply justified. The results of this fineness of manufacture were instantly apparent in the performance of the New Series Marmon 34. And every owner is continually impressed with the importance of these higher standards. Do you really know what Marmon roadability and Marmon performance are? We will appreciate an opportunity to demonstrate any model.
