City Will Lay Steel Siphon Under River Members of the city board of sanitary commissioners said today that work on the live-foot steel siphon to be laid under White river for the delivery of city sewage to the disposal plant on Sellers’ farm from the giant sewer that Is now under construction, will be started within the next few days. The work on the laying of the siphon should have been started sometime ago, sanitary commissioners said, but It has been greatly hindered by the lack of materials. A successful operation of the siphon will be quite an engineering feat, engineers say, and will be an entirely new feature of the disposal plants. Favorable Report on Hoarding Bill Seen The “pernicious hoarding” bill. Kipp Funeral to Be Held Tomorrow Funeral services for Albrecht Kipp, 71, presitkent of Kipp Brothers Company, 37-39 South Meridian street, who died yesterday at his home, 1240 Broadway, will be held tomorrow at the chapel of Planner & Buchanan, funeral director*. Mr. Kipp was born in Germany In 1849, coming to the United States in 1867. He was employed for a short time in a grocery on South Illinois street and later entered the employ of Charles Mayer in the toys and notion business. Coroner Looks Into Causes of 2 Deaths Coroner Robinson today Is investigating two accidents which resulted in the deaths of two men late yesterday afternoon at the City hospital. The bureau of industry of the Chamber of Commerce has been notified by the J. I. Case Plow Works Company that the company expects to rush construction on u six-story warehouse on South street, between Capitol and Senate avenues, the plans calling for the building to be ready for occupancy by Oct. 1. The warehouse will cost $300,000, according to the Indianapolis brnnch manager, C. H. Tichnor, and will have three times the present storage space.
