Grain Men Oppose Wheat Export Rate SEYMOUR, Ind., July 12.—The Southern Indiana Grain Dealers’ assoiatlon. in session here Saturday, adopted resolutions declaring opposition to the preferential rite of 25 cents on export wheat above that on flour, .which, they claim, is a protective tariff in favor of British millers at the expense of the American industry. Copies of the resolutions will be sent to Senators New and Watson and to the Indiana representatives in congress. The resolutions declare that the rate differential does not represent any actual difference in the cost of transporting the raw material as compared with the finished product, but is sn arbitrary rate that will result In the exportation of the raw material instead of the manufactured product.
