In making the speech of presentation, J. W. Coneys, superintendent of the Indianapolis division, said that in appreciation of the unselfish patriotism and devotion to ideals and duty shown by the unusually large number of officers and employes of the Pennsylvania system who made great personal sacrifices to serve during the world war, the board of directors desired to commemorate this service.
