The Better Business bureau will be on the Job all next week to see that visitors to advertising convention are not overcharged or treated unfairly In any other manner In any commercial transaction during their stay, G. F. Olwin, secretary-mhnager, announced today. The bureau made a national reputation for itself by the service it rendered during the convention of the Shriuers last year. This reputation was enhanced by the work the bureau did in protecting the speedway race crowd last Monday. ARREST TWO IN BABY KIDNAPING Former Servant of Philadelphia Family Held. PHILADELPHIA. June 4.—The first arrests in connection with the kidnaping of the l”-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Coughlin of Norristown was made today by private detectives. Mrs. Catherine Dundon, who worked as a servant for the Coughlins, was taken into custody and to the Norristown Jail. She was held on suspicion. James Malone, 2T, was taken into custody and will be questioned in connection with the kidnapping. Authorities refused to reveal wbat evidence they have regarding the prisoners. Ope letter was received by the parents since the child was kidnaped. It was in response to this that the parents have inserted an advertisement in newspapers offering $6,000 reward for information regarding the whereabouts of the baby. , Service Commission Grants Rate Increase Increases in flat water rates in Angola and Waterloo and authority to revise electric rates in Augola, Waterloo. Ashley. Hudson, Fremont, Pleasant Lake and rural communities served have been granted the Indiana Utilities Company by the public service commission. A petition has been filed with the commission by the Union Telephone Company of Carmel for an increase in rates, the petition requesting the commission to make an Investigation and grant rates required for relief. Mrs. O’Dell Sent to Prison for 20 Years ROCHESTER. N. Y., June 4—A verdict of guilty of murder in the second decree was returned against Pearl Odell in the supreme court here at midnight.. Sentence of from twenty years to life imprisonment in Auburn prison was im mediately pronounced by Judge Robert H. Thompson. Mrs. Odell was charged with assisting her husband.
