As the former, she appears as a striking blonde of the adverturess type and as the latter a sweet bruenette, who lives only for her mother. •’The Yellow Typhoon,” was written by Harold MacGrath. It centers about two sisters, one selfish, who Is willing to do anything to satisfy hr own desires for pleasure and excitement, and the other, of the home-lov-ing type, who fights her own sister for the sake of her country and home "PAGAN PURPLE.” An Oriental spectaelorama, "Pagan Purple,'' will also be a feature at the Circle all week. There are thirty-five In the cast, special songs anil elaborate stage settings done by S. Barrett MeCormi-'k, assisted by Frank Zimmerer. art director, and Norma Gregr, composer. The cast is composed entirely of professionals. many of them formerly with operatic and musical comedy shows. Though mainly allegorical in character. the story opens mu<-h as a drama of ordinary life. A beautiful girl at a bazaar Is wooed by a millionaire, an actor and a poor physician. She is also besieged by the offer of a stage manager to embrace a dramatic career. Thereupon the story becomes a transcript of the journey of life. The heroine becomes Everywotnan, the millionaire is Wealth, the actor Passion

and the other characters bear similar names. "Everywoman" Is urged to go upn the stage of life by Flattery to seek King Love. Her long journey leads her through many pitfalls, past the temptations of Wealth and Passion, until she finally reaches the humble hut of Love, who turns out to be the young physician.
