Catholic Women to Convene Here Mrs. James J. Shurin of Brooklyn, president of the International Federation of Catholic Women, and Mrs. Daniel Kelly of Valparaiso, Ind., state governor, will be among the speakers at the second annual convention of the state chapter of the organization which convenes at the Hotel Severin tomorrow. A luncheon will be held at noon In the Rainbow room of the hotel and will be followed by a business meeting and social hour. Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Shurin will be the guests of Mrs. J. J. Cole of the Clay pool hotel during their stay here. Employes of Store to Give Program Vaudeville and dancing will be features of the annual entertainment to be given by the Goldstein Mutual Aid association at the Athenaeum Tuesday night. At the general meeting of woman's department yesterday, it was announced that Mr. Maxwell's subject will be on a vital phase of the conservation question. Members may bring guests. Mrs. S. E. Perkins presided at the meeting yesterday. Reports were read by various officers and committee chairmen. A few minor changes were made in the by-laws. Mrs Perkins congratulated the organization on the enthusiastic support of the members in the past year. Indianapolis, is to be married June 5 to B. W. Williams of Chicago. The marriage is the culmination of a “Liberty Loan Drive" romance. Miss Summers, attired in nifty white uniform of the drum major, led a fife and drum corps made up of girl boosters for the Victory drive through the streets of Chicago in connections with a gala day parade. Mr. Williams saw her for the first time and June wedding bells are the result. Calls for Data on Broad Ripple Line The public service commission has ordered the Union Traction Company of Indiana to furnish Erasley W r . Johison,attorney for the town of Broad Ripple, data on revenues, equipment, and other information of the street car line connecting Indianapolis and Broad Ripple, and also information of Broad Ripple park valuations. This action was taken in following up a petition filed by the traction company with the commission for increased rates.
