Twenty-Two Per Cent What "would you say to investing your money where it would earn 22% ? Your first question would be. "Is It safe?" We do not promise 22%, although other companies operating on our plan last year did earn better than 22%. We guarantee 7% return, and we expect to earn for our shareholders from 10 to 15% more. Seven per cent is sure, and the return may run as high as 22%. Our investment is absolutely safe. Why? The American Mortgage Company finances construction loans. It operates In much the same manner as a building and loan company, except that its loans are for short periods and except that the investor's money is turned over two or three times a year instead of once in four or five years. In other words your money in our company helps build three houses a year instead of one in four or five years. The housing shortage is common knowledge. We can make many more loans than we have capital to support. For this reason we are offering a 7%, tax free, nonassessable Investment that may possibly earn 22% per year, to people desiring a sound business chance. If you are interested, we shall be glad to send you further information of our plan, without obligation on your part. Fill in this blank and mail the advertisement to us. Name Address America?! A woman on her feet all day very often has backache, dilzzy feelings at times, and pains here or there. If she will listen to what her neighbors say, and to the women who have had the experience, she will go to the nearest drug store and obtain a bottle of Dr. Pierce's Favorite Prescription. This is just the womanly tonic she needs periodically, and many are the women who express themselves aa deeply indebted to Dr. Pierce for this wonderful discovery. It is an herbal nerve tonic which strengthens the weak woman and overcomes many of those diseases wh#ich cause backache, headache, dizzy feelings, sometimes fainting spells, and those distressing pains and bearing down feelings. Read what this woman says: Kalkaska, Mich.—“l cannot write enough to express my thanks for being able to recommend Dr. Pierce's Favorite Prescription. Motherhood left m* in a very bad condition for which my doctor could not help me, but ‘Favorite Prescription’ has done wonders for me. I took two bottles of the ‘Prescription’ and have been helped wonderfully, being able now to do my own housework and work out besides. I have been entirely relieved. I feel like a new woman and will do all in my power to help other sufferers. I wish I could speak to the thousands of suffering women who have tried so many other remedies and advise them to trv the‘Prescription’ for it is a God-send to run-down women.”—MftS. W. C. HINDS.
