This does not affect embargo on shipments by railroad. Receipts, 250; market, sl6. There was a light demand for hogs at the opening of the market and some of the smaller local packers and butchers took about 500 bogs at sl6. Compared to the last general market of Friday this Is 75c lower, but sellers rather than bold hogs over under feed and shrinkage made the sacrifice. Largest local packer bid $15.50, but buyers refused to consider this figure. tester In the forenoon he raised to $15.75@16, and at this figure took about 1,290. There was no definite schedule established, the bulk of the hogs sold weighing from 160 to 225 lbs Weared at sl6. and those weighing from 225 to 250 sold at $15.75. t „ There was no activity to the market for roughs and what sentterbd sales were made cleared around the sl2 mark, or 75c lower than Friday.
