BOWLING ALLEY HIT BY BLAZE Cigaret Probable Cause of Fire Threatening Block. Fire that started on the third floor of the building occupied by the Capitol bowling alleys, 115 West Market street, at 5:45 a. m. today threatened all parts of the building. Prompt work by the fire department prevented the spread of the flames, and tbe damage amounted to only a few hundred dollars. Firemen said that a cigar or cigrret had probabjy started the flames, which sprang from the pits of the bowling alleys on tbe (bird floor, destroying the mats used for stopping the bowling balls.
