A. worker, while he was engaged In relief work In northern Syria, boasted of their act, according to information received in Indianapolis by the Near Kast relief committee. “Villagers assert that the bandits stopped an American automobile and killed four Americans,” says the report of John H. Boyd, director of relief work in Syria. James Perry was a victim, but as to the others twp Americans, details are lacking. “It will be easy to find the ones who committed the act when pressure is put on Constantinople from this end,” continued the report of Boyd. “The French are doing everything in their power to aid us here.” The report adds that the car used by the Americans has been found, stripped of all equipment. Two Boys and Man Reported Missing Two boys and a man were reported to the police today as missing from their homes. Sudden Death Brings Wood Alcohol Probe Coroner Paul Robinson Is investigating the sudden death of Patrick Shine, 55, of 1001 North West street. Death is supposed to be due to wood 1 alcohol polaon. Shine died in the operating room at the City hospital, while physicians were attempting to save his life by using a stomach pump. Men at the rooming house said Shine came borne Tuesday night apparently ill, bnt it was not until last night that his condition caused them to call a physi- I cian from the hospital.
