Evansville in Move to Keep Fares Down The city of Evansville wishes to relieve the street railway company of the obligation to pave between car tracks rather than stand for an Increased car fare, it was learned today. Mayor Benjamin Bosße of Evansville has asked the opinion of the attorney general of Indiana as to the legality of assuming the car company's franchise obligation.
