New York Visits Old Here I On a lltawrry tour of the country and here for a few days with old acquaintances, Robert C. Holliday, editor of the Bookman, New York, finds the Hoosier capital greatly changed since his previous Tislt four years ago. This is his home city and he was a student at Manual Training High school. “I am making a study of the literary tastes and trends of the people of various cities,” said he. “The policy of the Bookman, which is devoted to books, writing and the news of authors, is to get into more intimate touch.**
There's an Inner Beauty in your phonograph records, whose charms you have never heard, unless you have played them on a f^tarr PHONOGRAPH The Starr reproducer searches out the minutest tone shade in the record, and carries it in all its original sweetness and purity, through the Starr singing throat of silver grain spruce. Tone waves are delicate and easily distorted. That’s why Starr singing throat is made of silver grain spruce, the wood used in rare, old violins such a3 Stradivarius and Cremona, which are famous for their tone. But why argue. Try the same good record on other phonographs and then on the Starr—the first few pure notes from the Starr will convince you. Starr’s utmost musical delight, however, is expressed on SFrrrrhs. Hearing is believing. Come here to hear—no obligations STARR PIANO CO. MANUFACTURERS 138-140 N. Eggs Come Down With Easter Near Biddy’s getting ready for Easter. Asa result, folk, eggs will be from 1 to 2 cents cheaper. Herbert Glossbrenner of the Gloss-brenner-Dodge Poultry Company is sponsor for that statement. He claims the warm weather has j brought the l chickens out for their j "spring training” and that already they | have started to lay in close to season | form. Another contributing factor in the re- i duction in the cost is that egg raisers are more willing to come to the city to j market "hen fruit” with agreeable | weather.
