SOLONS BOOST WAR MEMORIAL Declare Special Assembly Should Take Action. United States Senator James E. Watson thinks Goodrich’s proposed special legislative session should do something to provide for a Hoosier war memorial. He makes known his desire for such action In answer to an inquiry made by the state war memorial committee of ■the American legion. “Indiana has not been slow In honor ing her soldiers In the past and will not be this time,” he says. Benater Harry New says the state should extend Itself to building something really commemorative for those who took part In the world war. The state's representatives in congress are equally enthusiastic In backing the memorial project. Oscar Bland thinks the memorial 6hoold be a home for all ex-soldlers. Wind Pranks Sound Two Burglar Calls March winds caused two fake burglar calls to be sent to the police early today. Ed Boteler, 2502 North Capitol avenue, telephoned headquarters at 2:30 o'clock this morning that there was a burglar in his home. Bergt. Bandmann and a squad found that a cellar window had been blown open, the noise awakening a roomer, who spread the alarm. The same hour the police received a report that burglars had entered the Betbard wall paper store, 415 Massachusetts avenue. Bicycle Police Trimpe and Kitzmiller found the wind had blown open a rear door that had been left unlocked.
