Bicycle and Patrol Cops Work 9 Hours A nine-hour day has been granted to bicycle policemen and patrol wagon men, by (Thief of Police Jerry Kinney, with the approval of the members of the board of public safety. The men had asked for an eight-hour day, bnt this was impossible because of the department's present quota and the city's financial condition. These two branchee of the police department heretofore were required to be on dnty twelve hours.
