Mayor Welcomes Colored Orator Roscoe Simmon*, colored orator of Louisville, Ky„ was welcomed by Mayor Charles W. Jewett when ha appeared before the Crlspns Attucks club, a colored organization, to deliver an address last night. Mr. Simmons predicted a golden future for negroes. “In spite of him, In spite of the blind and bitter agents of him, I stand with the American-white man,” he said. "Today he can not see, but further on all things will be clearer to him,” said Mr. Simmons. Edward S. Galllard, president of the club, presided.
