TO BRICK MAKERS AND BUILDERS. THE great dqmand for Sawyer's Patent Brick Machines, has induced the proprietor for the W'est, to make arrangements in addition to his own facilities with Mr. S. S. Dickinson, manufacturer of the celebrated Franklin Printing Press, to devote a part of his very extensive establishment to the erection of these brick machines, without, however, interfering with his means for furnishing, as usual, his variety of printing materials. This method of making Brick has been practically proven to be the best yet known, either as regards economy and expedition in manufacturing or cpaality of the article

when made. Competition, the test of all such matters, is j cordially and respectftdly invited. The Patent Right is considered well secured, even beJ yond the possibility of infringement; some of the ablest

Counsel in the Union having been employed in preparing the specifications of the same. The subscriber will sell and give clear titles for Rights to use the Machine in any Wettern Town or County noyet sold. THIS invaluable medicine is celebrated for curing the following diseases : 1st. IVidle isicellings of every description. 2d. Sore legs and Ulcers of long standing.

3d. Scirrous or Grandular 1 umors, particularly those hardened Tumors in woman's breasts which oftentimes terminate in ulceiated cancers. 4th. Felons, or what some people know by the uame of

Catarrhs, of every description. '5th. Rheumatic pains of the joints. Gth. Sprains and Bruises of every description or in whatever part situate. 7th. Tetters of all kinds. In this complaint, the patient in npplj'ing the ointment mnst keep the part out of the water fcth. Chilblains, or parts affected by frost. It is also one of the best remedies for burns and scalds. It eases the pain and draws the fire out in a short time. For women's inllamed breasts, and glandular sweliings, it is superior to anjT medicine j-et knovyn to the medical faculty. It is much safer than mercurjalapplications, (as it does not contain the smallest atoni of that mineral,) because it does not lay the patient liable to injury from exposure to cold. This ointment has cured sores of many years standing. When it is impossible or imprudent to heal the external sore, iii consequence of the bones becoming carious or rotton,'it will stop the progress of the caries, increase the quantity of the discharge, remove the offensive smell, and ease the pain. It cures the worst felon or whitlows on an application of fofty-eight hours. liheumatisms which have stood as long as to become a systematic disorder, require medicine to be taken inwardly to remove them entirely. Rutin most cases by applying this ointment external, as directed, it will give relief. And even old people whose pains have beeu of langer standing, it w ill ease the pain. CERTIFICATE.
