following diseases: 1st. M'hite -iceUings of ever-description. 2d. Sore legs and Ulcers of long standing. 3d. Scirrousor Grandular Tumors, particularly those hardened Tumors in woman's breasts which oftentimes terminate in ulcerated cancers. 4th. Felons, or what some people know by the uame of Catarrhs, of every description. 5th. Rheumatic pains of the joints. (ith. Sprains and Bruises of every description or in whatever part situate. 7th. Tetters of all kinds. In this complaint, the patient in applying the ointment mnst keep the part out of the water 8th. Chilblains, or parts affected by frost. It is also one of the best remedies lor burns and scalds. It eases the pain and draws the fire out in a short time. For women's inflamed breasts, and glandular swelling?, it is superior to any medicine yet known to the medical faculty. It is much safer than mercurial applications, (as it does not contain the smallest atom of that mineral, ") be

cause it docs not lay the patient liable to injury from expo- j sure to cold. This ointment has cured sores of many years standing. When it is impossible or imprudent to heal the external sore, inconsequence of the bones becoming carious or rotton, it will stop the progress of the caries, increase the quantit' of the discharge, remove the offensive smell, and ease the pain. It cures the wot felon or whitlows on an application of forty-eight hours. Rheumatisms w hich have stood as long as to become a systematic disorder, require medicine to be taken inwardly to remove them entirely. But in most cases by applying this ointment externally, as directed, it will give relief. And even old people w hose pains have beeu of longer standing, it w ill ease the pain.
