The Indianapolis Links Chapter will host its 22 nd Celebrity Barbecue and Grille by roasting six prominent Hoosiers on Sept. 16 at the Indianapolis Marriott downtown at 350 W. Maryland St. beginning at 7 p.m. This year’s roastees will be Cheryl Adams, news anchor for WXIN 59; John Hall, field office director for U.S. Department of Housing; Gerald Bepko, director ofTobias Center; Gilbert Holmes,

president and CEO of IndyGo; Davine Nolcox of Indianapolis Chapter of Links; and Dr. Raymond Pierce, retired professor of orthopedic surgery at IU School of Medicine. The lifetime achievement award will go to U.S. Congresswoman Julia Carson. Amos Brown, strategic research director of Radio One, will add the sauce and spice in his duties as roast-master. There will also be a live auction. This year’s proceeds will go to
