We have a contract with the Veterans Administration and they provide the funds for us to serve the clients that they send to us,” said Marshall. “We also do drug and alcohol treatment counseling and with this program we look for clients that are in our programs as well as individuals who can come in off the street.”

vehicles. “People who donate their cars are able to take a tax deduction for the gift and then we resell the vehicle at a public auction and this is our largest source of fundraising revenue,” said Leffler. The core values of Volunteers of America include commitment, integrity, character, excellence and above all, service. “We’ve been doing our work kind of quietly but we’re starting to get some recognition for w hat we’re doing.
