Byrd appointed BMV titles director Indiana Department of Motor Vehicles Zoning Commissioner, Gilbert L. Holmes announced the appointment of Jeffrey Byrd as Director of the Titles Department. Byrd, who recently received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma City University, will oversee vehicle and watercraft titling, vehicle records, microfilm and data entry, title tracing and error listing within the Titles Department. During his 12 year tenure with the United States Air Force, he served in a variety of managerial positions, including Director of Current Operations and Airborne Surveillance Officer. He was also responsible for designing, developing and implementing an Air Force operations plan to enhance the “War on Drugs” for Congress and the Treasury Department. “We believe Jeff’s extensive managerial experience will be a great asset to the Bureau and our commitment to efficient, professional service for all Indiana motorists,” said Holmes.
