yoa. It is ap to the iadivkhuJ to 4a the work that Gad has
aaamy that ga to church seven days a week, yet are aot doing aay of God's work. God fives withai the body, whkh is where the work of God begins. One cannot reach out to others antO one has first reached inward. It makes no what religion you there are only two kinds of people...those who know and those who do not know...the power and the knowledge of God.
Our children need all the guidance that we have to offer them. You must understand that they are the leaders of tomorrow and in order for them to deal with Hfe. they must be very well prepared. Life is getting more difficult to deal with and so are the children. I have heard many parents say that their children act as if they have been here before because of the things they say and do. This is the same thing your parents said about you. Each generation is different from the next. The generation that we are watching grow up will speak out on what they believe in; therefore, we must have the answers that they are looking for, even if it means going back to school. Many of you parents are not doing your job, which is being a mother or father and yet you expect your children to act like children. If you do not know your responsibilities as a parent, maybe you should seek help. It is nothing to hide; for the work you did not do will show up in an upsetting life. God is watching you and so are your children. Do the work and look into yourself. God lives! What about your
out. What have we dose? We are the children of Earth, whether we Hke it or net. we are also kitting Mother Earth. How much more do you think she can stand? You know what God’s message is...“I will not put no more on you than you can bear.”...It is all about the dollar bill that is being totally misused m every way. What can we afford to do for ourself and others concern ing money? Very little. The signs are very dear that our God and Mother Earth are very very tired of the pain that man is inflicting upon Earth and ourselves. God is forever. The Elderly It is a shame the way that the elderly are treated by the country, their families and by employees of some of the homes that they are placed in. Just think they are the builders of our country, but they are treated like they are the enemy. It is very hard for the elderly to understand how their families can put them in oM folks home (prisons). Can you imagine how you would feel if you were put in an orphanage after you had gotten to know your parents and brotHerts) and sistertsl? The elderly, with or without money, are being robbed, mur dered, killed and raped. Something must be done; for there is no respect for older people. Just think of the knowledge and wisdom that they have to offer us. They are the teachers of the world. It s like burning books of knowledge, they are valuable to all of us. Also, we have the poor elderly, many with families that come to visit only once a year and on holidays. Most have very little money and no help from their family or country. The Bible states, plainly... “Honor thy mother and thy father and thy days will be lengthened.'* Our God is upset. What about you? | Continued next week

Tbe diviaioM «f Fubhe Health statistics show that the total number of i1legitiui*f births is Indianapolis far 1960 was 3.417. Pram that figure. 2.092 of those births were non-white which is 60 percent of all illegitimate births. “Old wives tales and friends with bad experiences are some reasons why Mack temaies are afraid to use contraceptives.” said Ms. Daniels. “Rather than seek the right information, they listen to the wrong information and don't try to find out the truth.” Ms. Green noted, “The increase in unwanted teenage pregnancies mu* be because they <to not understand conception. the motivation for sexual activity, or their own bodies." ‘They are being egocentric; thinking it can’t happen to them.” she said. Experts say the increase is due to more women wanting to wait until they are older to marry, and the diminishing social stigma unwed mothers now suffer. Martin O'Connell, chief of fertility stati*ics at the Census Bureau, said pregnant black teenagers also are more reluctant to marry now. A decade ago. 26 percent of them married before giving birth; by the late 1970's only 8 percent did. He said one reason fewer unmarried pregnant women may be going to the altar Is that many potential husbands are discouraged by the country's shaky economy. Ms. Daniels stated many ladies in their early twenties are conceiving without potential husbands. She also noted.
