7:35 p.m. Thomas is currently one of the top rookies in the National Basketball Association.

A crowd of 15,035 turned out at the Pontiac SUverdome for last Saturday night’s game against the Celtics-Detroit’s second largest home crowd and a welcome change from last season’s average home attendance of 5,569. Again, it can be credited to the impact of Isiah. New season ticket sales are up more than 50 percent, and right after Isiah signed, one TV sponsor agreed to commit three times last year's budget to Pistons games. Clearly, the Pistons latched onto something good when they landed Thomas with the second See ISIAH, Rage 17
