Hornsby, the former hus band of Pauia Keith, was named as a (Ywonspiratar in the indictment but was not charged The indictment said Hornsby placed an envelope containing drugs m the Keiths car on February 6. 1980. and the next evening East pulled over the Keiths car. searched it. and arrested the couple for possession of illegal drug*. The indictment said East agreed to make the arrest for $100. and Hornsby told Storey he would receive marijuana as compensation.
