the world. Also I have found how rewarding it is to give love, guidance, advice and influence to a fatherless boy who needs someone to help him find the right path, before someone starts him on the wrong one. I have been privileged to see many examples that indicate the slogan, ‘Your influence can last a lifetime’ is a fact and not a statement." Now retired from Chevrolet Indianapolis, where he was employed as a Maintenance Crib Attendant for 31 years, Smith continues to serve his Union, U.A.W. Local 23, as the

In a fourth volunteer capacity, Jim is President of Cosmo Knights, a private, non-profit club which has raise i monies for many charities in recent years and has provided college scholarships for a number of deserving high school graduates. “I have many pleasant memories associated with my work as a volunteer which I wouldn’t trade f or dollars,” Smith stated. “I think each of us has an obligation to our existence to help when and where we have the opportunity.”
