PROMOTED: Army Chaplain Cauthion T. Boyd Jr., of Detroit, has been promoted to Colonel, U.S. Army, at Fort Benjamin Harrison, where he is Post Chaplain.. The Colonel is a Vietnam veteran, having spent last year assigned to the 44th Medical Brigade, the first Medical Brigade to serve in a combat zone. He was awarded the Bronze Star, his record, jusk before his departure.’ He also holds the Silver Star, awarded to him during the Korean Conflict, and the Army Commendation Medal with several oak leaf clusters.
