The Thursday program will resume at 8 p.m.. after a 5 p. m., adpournment for dinner. At that time the delegates will hear music and reports by the Committee on Christian Education and the directors of Christian Education. Following the reports, Rev. F. M. Webb will deliver a message and the laymen’s hour will begin, followed by a special education rally. The Friday program will feature a noon day message scheduled to be delivered by Rev. Odella Davis. The day will begin with the special session, “The School of the Prophets,” led by Dr. C. H. Foggie. Afterwards, reports will be rendered by the Committee on Home Missions and Church Extension — this will include financial reports by conference workers and home mission workers. Rev. Amelia M. Tucker, missionary supervisor, will preside during the missionary hour, set for 3:30 p.m. The missionary sermon will be delivered by Rev. C. J. Antle as Rev. Tucker presides over Fraternal Missionary Night. The Saturday session features the youth program, directed by Mesdames Gertrude Weatherly, Leona Brooks, Edith Patton, Ovenia Schallet and Louise Tinsley. Rev. W. A. Roseborough will give the day’s message and Holy Communion. Highlighting Sunday’s activities will be a sermon by Dr. Pierce. This is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. During the morning services, Bishop Tucker or an appointee will deliver the morning sermon after Sunday Church School, led by Mrs. Leola Brookins, conference director and local superintendents. After Dr. Pierce’s sermon, reports will be given by the finance and resolutions committees. Bishop Tucker will close the conference with the reading of appointrnents. LUTHER E. LLOYD President of Local 58 of the Hotel, Restaurant and Tavern Employe’s Union and a veteran of World War II and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Luther E. Lloyd’s funeral services were held May 17 in Stuart Mortu1 ary Chapel. Mr. Lloyd resided at 2248 Pierson and was 55 years of age. He died in his 1 home.

More than 3,200 Indiana University students from the state made the Deans’ Lists by posting grade averages of 3.3 or better (B-plus) out of a possible “4” during the designated period.
