City Federation of Colored Women's Clubs will have its annual Christmas Party at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 18,

Oak Room Scene of Dinner

The Oak Room of the Continental Hotel was the scene of the Breakfast Club’s fourth annual dinner. With their motto “Christian Fellowship,” members invited over 20 friends to join in the occasion. They included Revs, and Mmes. F. K. Dillard, Richard Watts. Malvin Allen, Rev. H. T. Toliver, Rev. Murphy Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Lewis, Mmes. Dewilda Johnson, Mary Walton, Mamie Foster, Blanche Lyles, and Messrs. Richard Frazier, William Davie, Milton Peinex, Arthur Pirtle, T. Toliver, John Gooch, Joseph TayW. and Bennie Wilkins. Hostesses were Mmes. Viola Frazier, president; Odessa Davie, vice-nresident; Ethel Peinex, secretary; Alice Gray, assistant secretary; Ellen Pirtle, treasurer; Gertrude Taylor, recording secretary; Otelia Gooch, chaplain; Roberta Steward, flower fund secretary; Mary Bradley, flower fund treasurer, and Evelyn Brewer. The menu consisted of sirloin of beef, mashed potatoes, peas, fruit cocktail salad, tossed salad, apple pie and ice-cream.

Guiding Light Christian Service To Fill Stockings Sacking up stockings with various candies will be the order of the day Tuesday when members of the Guiding Light Christian Service gather at Second Christian

Church.

From 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. Service affiliates will be busy, busy, busy putting candy into about 4,00 stockings to be delivered to oatients for Christmas.
