The funeral of John Parker was conducted May 27 at the Durrett Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. G. L. Foston of Paducah, delivering the eulogy. Burial was in the Cave Spring Cemetery with Adams Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Parker died May 24 following an extended illness. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Charlie H. Parker; two daughters, five sons, several grandchildren. three sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
