DENVER (ANP)—“The Feeding Of The Five Thousand”— will bring over 5,000 AME’s here July 18-22. Bishop H. Thomas Primm, presiding bishop of the 5th Episcopal District, which covers a 14-state area west of the Mississippi, has selected the picturesque Red Rock Park natural amphitheatre as a suitable setting for a re-enactment of the Biblical “feeding of the

5000.”

The Denver gathering will mark the first phase of an evangelistic project ‘ that is being conducted in the 5th District, called “Operation Andrew.” Based upon the scriptural experience of the Disciple Andrew “going to get his brother,” members throughout the District have been conducting a personal evangelistic program since Steptember, 1961, aimed at a goal of 5,000 new church members. These new “converts” and church members will come to Denver for five days of “spiritual enrichment” that has been programmed to include outstanding preachers and group leaders from throughout the nation.
