Outstandng leaders of the race, long recognize Mr. Rathblott’s dedicated aim nd paid him public tribute and mnor throughout the country. AS EARLY as 1925, Rathblott was elected to a life time memberhip in the National Baptist Convention, Inc. The beloved, late Dr L. K. Williams presided over this historic meeting when the election of Rathblott to the membership as its first Jewish member had the unanimous approval of the dele-

gates present.

Only recently, Rathblott said, "That while he has only a limited number of lots remaining in his Mizpah Development and normally lie should feel that his mission in life was accomplished, however, in this day and age we find ourselves living in a hectic world and bigotry runs rampant because there is still the element, though in a minority, who would like to see the Negro and the Jew placed on

a secondary status.

St - Agnes Students Make ''Teen Tour" Miss Frances Iona Booker and Miss Fredricka Ann Downey, St. Agnes Academy seniors, returned home last week after touring the Washington, D.C., area and New York City with the senior Class’s annual Teen Tour. The group traveled by train, and will be in Washington they were the guest of the Diplomat Hotel. The visited Arlington National Cemetery, George Washington’s home at Mt. Vernon, the Jefferson Memorial and toured the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis.
